For beginning and advanced English language learners, we use a blended learning platform that combines small-group instruction with technology-enabled resources for personalized reading practice, students can access resources online and in print at home.

How Do I Start?

1. Take a Test

Take a three part test to determine your students' English level. The three part test include testing the students' speaking when reading aloud, comprehension in retelling a story, and understanding with a written exam.

With your test results, sign up for a class based on the student level. Course times are posted in our course calendar available here.

I. Reading

The reading program includes a robust collection of resources, lesson plans, activities, and quizzes to ensure students receive the differentiated instruction they need. Resources are easily customized to fit any instructional model and promote key 21st century skills. 

The program also includes a personalized library of leveled books and additional reading passages available in print and online. All online student activity is tracked in data-driven reports to help determine future instruction.

Students are given assessments to easily place students at the appropriate reading level, monitor reading progress, and determine future instruction.

Language Central includes six program levels. Within each levels are sub-sections for progressing within each level. On average, a student progresses from one level to another in one full academic year.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer programs in English reading, English writing, and test-taking for international programs.

Our small group of four students are $600 per semester. We offer discounts for longer-term students. 

The lessons are 50 minutes. They meet once per week for a semester. The Fall Semester course is from September 1 to January 31 (20 weeks). Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks week do not have classes. The Spring course is from March 1 to July 15 (20 weeks). The summer semester is from August 1 to August 31 (7 weeks). 

Our courses include up to four children. We do this to keep course sizes small to ensure personalized attention for our young learners.
